MOUNDSVILLE — More than 75 people attended June 18’s Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event, sponsored by the Marshall County Family Resource Network.
The FRN was a first-time sponsor of the event.
The event, held at Grand Vue Park’s Banquet Hall, was a networking opportunity for both members and nonmembers of the chamber. The event did not disappoint, as the roster boasted an impressive number of Marshall County businesspeople, municipal officials and community members. They were welcomed individually by FRN executive director Stacie Dei.
The Business After Hours was also a chance to better get to known the FRN, a nonprofit dedicated to making Marshall County a better place to live and work.
After an introduction by chamber executive director David Knuth, Dei spoke briefly about the FRN and Dec. 31’s Winter Carnival, which is sponsored by the FRN. The FRN’s logo headlined a sheet cake.
